Special Session

 

Submission

Welcome proposals of special session to PSSGT within the technical scope of the conference. Special session supplement the regular program of the conference and provide a sample of the state-of-the-art research in both academia and industry in special, novel, challenging, and emerging topics. Submissions in the special session will be evaluated and peer-reviewed as per the same criteria of the regular papers. Accepted and registered session papers will be included in conference proceedings, and submit to main abstracting and indexing databases. Abstracts will be included in the program. Each approved proposal will be allotted a programming time slot for no less than 90 minutes(6 presentations at least) in the conference program.

 

Guidance

Special session proposals should be submitted by the prospective organizer(s) who will commit to promoting and handling the review process of their workshop as Chairs or Co-Chairs of the event.

Proposals should include the following information:
1. Tentative Title;
2. Short description of the proposed topic: (approx. 100 words)
3. Novelty and motivation: (explain why this session is indeed special and cannot be part of the regular program)
4. Brief bio(s) of organizer(s);
5. Name(s), Emails and Affiliations of organizer(s);
6. Name(s), Emails and Affiliations of chair(s);
7. Papers information;
8. Potential Reviewers Information;
9. Related topics;
10. A draft of the CFP.

Special Session 1: Integration and Operation Strategies of Renewable Energy and Distributed Energy Resources in Smart Grids

Scope:
This track focuses on the integration, optimization, and operation of renewable energy and distributed generation systems within smart grid architectures and energy markets. It welcomes contributions addressing both technical and economic aspects of distributed and renewable energy integration.

Scope:
This track covers advanced research on ensuring cybersecurity, reliability, and intelligent control in modern smart grids. It encourages submissions on digitalization, IoT, and AI-based solutions for resilient and secure grid operations.

Suggested Topics:
Cyber-physical security frameworks and threat modeling for smart grids
Secure communication and data protection in IoT-enabled energy systems
AI and big-data analytics for anomaly detection and predictive maintenance
Reliability assessment and fault-tolerant design for grid infrastructures
Privacy preservation in smart metering and demand response (DR) systems
